Say hello to the new Crafty Chica drawing. One of them at least. Patrick has been working away at the illos for my new book and this is one of them. I wish I could show you the others, but you'll just have to wait!

Also to Nancy at ComadreCoaching.com for giving me some much needed support. And Denise Icard! Oh my God, she is a lifesaver! Last week I was on crafty burnout - the worst case I've had in months. I hadn't brushed my hair in days, I was stinky, no makeup and kept eating junk food while crying over the art table. I was saying horrid things like, "I just drank my paint water by accident! I suck!"
Patrick finally told me, "You need to get out of the house! Go get some fresh air, go shopping, GO!"
So I got dressed, which means, I put on bright red lipstick, combed my hair with my fingers and headed over to Denise's shop, AlteRnaTe Paper Arts. I was only there for a few seconds when all my juicy juices came back! When I got home, I made two very cool handmade books.
